BISPING MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH was established in January 1989 and is involved in designing and marketing medico-technical products and in giving technical and scientific advice.

The founder and managing director, Hans-Juergen Bisping, studied electronic engineering at the Technical University of Aachen. He began his career in 1969 at the department of cardiology of the Clinical University Center in Aachen, Germany, specialising in the electrostimulation of the heart.

In 1980 Hans-Juergen Bisping became director of marketing, technology and development for VITATRON MEDICAL, Cologne.

From 1983 until the establishment of his own business he acted as an exclusive consultant of INTERMEDICS Inc., an American company engaged in the health care industry. During that time, Hans-Juergen Bisping was engaged in the clinical evaluation and introduction of antitachycardia and dual chamber pacemaker systems in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia and was in regular contact with leading cardiologists and cardiosurgeons in those countries. Through numerous lectures, scientific articles and presentations, chairs at international meetings and congresses and dozens of national and international patents and especially through his patented unique transveneous screw-in concept for heartpacemaker leads, Hans-Juergen Bisping became a nationally and internationally renowned expert in the biomedical industry.

Hans-Juergen Bisping is an expert in handling the approval procedure according to the Medical Instruments Ordinace ( Med GV / MPG ) in Germany. He is a regular member of the German Cardiac Society as well as the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology - NASPE.
